A flexible and well conceived range of steel-framed industrial buildings from DeVille & Lear.
DeVille & Lear have established themselves as a reliable fabricator of quality steel-framed industrial buildings designed to BS 5950. When an order is placed with us, further discussion takes place involving the customer and/or his architect and we then produce structural calculations ready for submission to the relevant building control authority. DeVille & Lear’s policy of close personal involvement continues throughout, ensuring that the project benefits from the smoothest possible interaction between ourselves and other contractors and trades.

Cladding Materials
A vast range of cladding material is currently available. Our experience in the application of each of the various alternatives is comprehensive, and we welcome the opportunity to advise on suitability and cost implication. Similarly, knowledge we have gained on the differing methods and advantages of roof and wall insulation is at your disposal.
Doors
We can offer a wide range of doors including roller shutters, up-and-over type, and sliding as well as quality personnel and fire doors.
Options available for roller shutter doors include power operation, insulated doors, coloured finish to the slats, etc.
Alternatively, we can work in conjunction with the customer’s own supplier, and merely provide the necessary supporting steelwork minus actual doors.
Steelwork Treatment
Deville & Lear operate their own shotblasting plant and all steework, prior to fabrication, is treated if necessary. Afterwards, steelwork is given a works coat of high quality paint primer, then a top finishing coat is applied prior to erection; any necessary touch-up work being done before sheeting — aternatively we can supply steelwork with a hot-dipped galvanised finish at extra cost.
